A car thief took advantage of a 54-year-old man's laundry day Thursday at a Laundromat near the Buena Vista Road Super C convenience store, according to a Columbus Police report.

The man told police that he left his keys in the car and went back inside for a second load of clothes at about 10:40 a.m. When he came back out, his 2003 Chrysler Concorde was missing.

The car was later found and returned to its owner. The nature of the discovery was not given.

No suspect was named or described.
