Central High boys basketball coach Bobby Wright will be absent from the sidelines for tonight's sub-regional playoff matchup against Jeff Davis at home.

Wright was taken to the hospital Wednesday evening for an undisclosed ailment, according to wife Carolyn Wright, who said the coach is in good spirits. She said they will await full test results before commenting, but did say doctors had ruled out a heart attack or a stroke.

Coaching in his absence will be assistant coach Carson Jones.

Central is 25-1 this season and currently on an 11-game win streak.
