4th Annual Camellia Show: Beauty in bloom

February 15, 2014

The Chattahoochee Valley Camellia Society's 4th Annual Camellia Show joined forces Saturday at the Columbus Museum with Delicate Delights 2014, a small standard flower show presented by the Columbus Flower Workshop and the Iris and Pine Needle Garden Clubs of LaGrange.

The Delicate Delights show featured the work of 18 designers, who entered creative arrangements featuring Camellias. Barbara Anthony, who co-chaired the Delicate Delights show with Diane Goldwire, said this is the first time they have joined the Chattahoochee Valley Camelia Society for a joint show.

"It's a friendly competition between the members to show what we have learned at garden club," Anthony said.

The 2014 Camellia Show is dedicated to Betty Turner Corn and continues today from 1-5 p.m.
