A Columbus woman told police early Sunday morning that a man in a black ski mask stole her car late Saturday.

According to the police report, the car was in the front yard of a house on 7th Street with the engine running.

"I was letting it warm up as I finished getting ready for work," the victim said on Sunday. "I only left it alone for four or five minutes. I work hard for that car. People have no right to take it."

She told police that around 11:30 p.m. she heard doors slam and then she saw a black male with face covered jump into the 2005 blue Scion and drive away.

The car, which has a sunroof, is valued at $12,500.
