Auburn falls to East Tennesse State 3-2 in classic

AUBURN, Ala. -- The Auburn Tigers fell to East Tennessee State 3-2 in extra innings Sunday in the Tiger Classic.

Auburn scored its only two runs of the game in the bottom of the fourth when Blake Logan hit a two-RBI double to left center.

East Tennessee scored two runs of its own to knot the game at 2-2 by the end of regulation. It took only one extra inning for East Tennessee to score the go-ahead run and pick up the win.

Logan went 2-4 with two runs batted in. Dedrick Terrance (0-1) absorbed the loss for Auburn. He pitched one and 2/3 innings and gave up one run on two hits.

Auburn (3-4) will host Alabama A&M Tuesday at 4 p.m.
