Torch Hill Road woman battered after argument over money

Police are searching for a family violence suspect after a 24-year-old woman was hit in the face several times in her Torch Hill Road apartment, according to a Columbus Police report.

The woman told police that she and her boyfriend were arguing about money Monday evening when the suspect suddenly hit her several times.

The woman did not sustain visible injuries, but police did note redness on her arms where she attempted to block the blows. Several lamps and electronic devices in the apartment also appeared to have been thrown during the argument, according to the report.

The boyfriend was not there when police arrived.

No suspects were named or described. No arrests have been made.
