UPDATE: Police say teen stabbed 14-year-old brother brother

A 14-year-old boy is in satisfactory condition after he was stabbed by his teenage brother, according to a police.

It happened around 11 p.m. Thursday in the hallway of a residence at on Winston Road. He originally was listed in critical condition, according to a Columbus Police report.

Police said Friday the boy's 16-year-old brother stabbed him with a butcher knife. He has been arrested and charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault (family violence). He's in custody at the Youth Detention Center.

The teenager was stabbed in the left side of his chest with a knife, according to the report.
