Skinny bandit snatches cash at Dollar General

Columbus police are looking for a skinny bandit who snatched $11 from a Dollar General employee Friday afternoon.

The employee wasn’t injured in the 2:03 a.m. robbery at 4900 River Road.

In a report, police said the man entered the front door of the business, took money from the employee and fled with a bundle of $1 bills.

The robber is described as white, 6 feet, 1 inches tall, in his late 20s to early 30s and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a gray polo shirt with black longsleeve undershirt and a green ball cap.

The robbery remains under investigation.
