Lady Cougars golf in 12th at invitational


POOLER, Ga. -- The Columbus State Lady Cougars golf team is tied for 12th place after the first day of the Armstrong Pirate Women's invitational at the Savannah Quarters golf club. The Lady Cougars finished the day with a team score of 344.

Ciera Bagley shot a 10-over 82 and is tied for 30th individually. Steph Charteris and Courtney Lowery each shot a 12-over 84 and are tied for 39th, and Jodi Henley shot a 24-over 94 and is tied for 76th.

The second and final round will begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
