High school roundup: Kendrick's Jones, Hardaway's Battles named regional athletic directors of year

The Georgia Athletic Directors Association announced its regional athletic directors of the year on Sunday, selecting two area directors for the honor.

Kendrick High athletic director Collins Jones was selected for Region 5-AA, and Hardaway's Jeff Battles was chosen for 1-AAAAA.

The state athletic director of the year will be announced at the 2014 GADA annual conference held on March 22-25 at the Savannah Hilton Desoto.
