Police seek CVS robbery suspect

A man suspected of robbing the Hilton Avenue CVS Pharmacy Wednesday morning is sought by police, according to a Columbus Police report and news release.

At about 11 a.m., a suspect entered the store and grabbed a drink from the cooler. He then approached the clerk and demanded he give up the money. The clerk opened the cash register, at which point the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

Police describe the suspect as a 5-foot-9 white man. During the robbery, he wore a grey thermal shirt, blue jeans, a black and red Alabama baseball cap and dark sneakers with a white trim.
