Ebert and Ortman lead Auburn to 9-5 win over Mercer


AUBURN, Ala. -- Jordan Ebert went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs Friday night to lead Auburn to a 9-5 win over Mercer.

Dillon Ortman (3-1) worked 7 2/3 innings for the win.

Grant Papelian (1-1) gave up six on on seven hits and took the loss.

Auburn (7-6) hosts Mercer (12-3) for the second game of the series today at 4 p.m.
