ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia picked up its seventh straight win with a 4-3 victory over North Florida on Saturday at Foley Field in the Bulldog Invitational.

Nelson Ward drove in the wining run in the bottom of the ninth inning, singling to right field and scoring Heath Holder.

Pete Nagel, a reliever, earned the win by pitching two scoreless innings.

Holder went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and an RBI. Ward and Hunter Cole also had RBIs.

David Sosebee pitched five scoreless innings in relief for the Dogs (9-6).

"David Sosebee and Pete Nagel were outstanding coming in from the bullpen," Georgia coach Scott Stricklin said in a news release. "They gave us a chance. Nelson Ward showed again why he is one of our team leaders and team captain. He's a clutch guy and came up with another clutch hit.

"We took advantage of the error in the ninth, and then after Heath (Holder) didn't get the bunt down, he came up with a big double. It's another good win."

Georgia concludes play in the Bulldog Invitational when it plays Western Carolina at 3 p.m. Sunday.
