Wake Forest scores five in eighth to beat Georgia Tech


ATLANTA -- Matt Gonzalez and Elliott Barzilli drove in two runs apiece for Georgia Tech, but the Jackets fell 12-8 to Wake Forest on Saturday afternoon at Russ Chandler Stadium.

Tech (7-7, 0-2 ACC) tied the game at 7 in the seventh inning, but the Deacons (11-4, 2-0) scored five times in the eighth on seven hits.

Connor Justus went 3-for-4 for the Jackets.
