Georgia rides big inning to 6-2 win over Western Carolina

ATHENS, Ga. -- The Georgia Bulldogs downed Western Carolina 6-2 thanks to a five-run fourth inning.

Conor Welton went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and Hunter Cole, Zach Bowers, Jess Posey and Heath Holder each had one RBI for Georgia.

Patrick Boling (2-1) pitched 7 1/3 innings and gave up two runs on eight hits with three strikeouts.

The Bulldogs (10-6) will host Western Kentucky Tuesday at 6 p.m.
