2 checkpoints planned in Auburn, Ala., next week

Two police checkpoints will be held next week in Auburn, Ala., the Auburn Police Division said.

A checkpoint will be set up on Moores Mill Road from 10:a.m.-12:30 p.m. CDT and another on West Longleaf Drive from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. on March 19.

Drivers will be asked for driver’s license, proof of insurance and vehicle registration at both checkpoints.

The Central Alabama Highway Safety Office and the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs are conducting the enforcement activity.
