Auburn baseball rallies past Alabama State


AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn rallied twice to defeat Alabama State 6-5 on Wednesday night at Plainsman Park.

Auburn trailed 2-0 before scoring four in the fourth inning, highlighted by Damek Tomscha's homer.

After the Tigers trailed 5-4, Auburn scored two in the seventh to take the lead for good. Ryan Tella hit a homer for one run, and Daniel Robert drove in the go-ahead run.

Jay Wade pitched the final three innings in relief to earn the win.
