Police charge man with animal cruelty

Police charged a 67-year-old man with animal cruelty early Wednesday morning at his 12th Avenue home, according to a Columbus Police report.

Officers reported the cruelty while at Clarence Pollard's home at about 3 a.m. The nature of the cruelty Pollard is accused of inflicting on the animal was not disclosed. The type of animal was also not given in the report.
