The Piggly Wiggly on 13th Street was evacuated today after Columbus fire officials found a gas leak.

Fire Marshal Ricky Shores of the Columbus Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services said firefighters found a leak in a service line to the 1367 13th St. business after they were called at 1:33 p.m.

Shores said a crew from Liberty Utilities was called to investigate the leak.

The store reopened about 30 minutes after it was evacuated.
