Central High senior gets honorable mention in C-SPAN contest

March 15, 2014

Adrian Rodriguez-Febres, a senior at Central High School, received an honorable mention from C-SPAN for his same-sex marriage documentary titled "American Equality and the Freedom of Marriage." The national competition, 2014 StudentCam, asked middle school and high school students to produce a five- to seven-minute documentary on a national policy issue. The students were asked to answer the question, "What's the most important issue the U.S. Congress should consider in 2014?" In response, C-SPAN received 2,355 video submissions.
