Man cut on neck with knife in Outlaws parking lot

Columbus police have made an arrest in an incident Sunday in which a 29-year-old Phenix City man was cut on the neck with a knife.

Arrested and charged with aggravated assault was Joseph Drake, 51, of Cataula, Ga.

According to the police report, the incident happened between 2:45 a.m. and 3:06 a.m. in the parking lot of Outlaws, 6499 Veterans Parkway.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Midtown Medical Center and was list in fair condition.

The report did not give a reason for the stabbing.
