CSU men's golf in 9th after first round


EATONTON, Ga. -- The No. 11 Columbus State men's golf team finished the first round of the Bobcat Invitational in night place with a total of 311 at the Golf Club at Cuscowilla.

Rain shortened the first day to just one round instead of two.

Jack Stumpfig shot a six-over 76 to lead CSU in the first round. Robert Mize shot a 77 and Bryan Lichimo and Cates Culpepper both shot a 79.

CSU will tee off once again Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m.
