Shots fired during Piedmont Drive home invasion

Two men and three women were held at gunpoint Wednesday during a home invasion at a Piedmont Drive residence, according to a Columbus Police report.

The victims, whose ages range between 18 years and 22 years, told police several men stormed the 1000 block home at about 8:25 p.m. They began making threats and demanding money. At one point, one of the men fired a shot inside the house, according to the report.

No one was injured during the incident. The suspects were not described in the report.
