Man robbed of $850, car stolen on Appolo Drive

A 28-year-old Columbus man was robbed at gunpoint of $850 in cash and his car stolen late Friday on Appolo Drive, police said.

The victim was not injured in the robbery which occurred sometime between 9 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.

The victim told police he was confronted by two men, one armed with a pistol, at a home on Appolo Drive. The robbers took $850 in cash and a brown 2000 Honda Accord with 18-inch chrome wheels.

The robbery and car theft remains under investigation.

Both suspects are described as black. One has a thin build and a short hair cut. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and Nike tennis shoes. The second man is short and stocky, with dreadlocks. He had two tears tattooed under his right eye and was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and a red and blue hat.
