Georgia falls to LSU 2-1

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The Georgia Bulldogs fell to LSU 2-1 Saturday.

LSU had a 2-0 lead by the fifth inning, and the only run the Bulldogs could muster was an RBI single by Nelson Ward in the sixth.

Robert Tyler pitched 7 2-3 innings and gave up two runs on five hits with four strikeouts and two walks.

Georgia (14-10, 1-4) will play the last part of a three-game series against LSU Sunday at 1 p.m.
