I for one welcome our new robot overlords

Students belonging to the Columbus Robotics Alliance will compete this weekend against 65 other high school organizations at the Georgia FIRST Robotics Peachtree Regional championships at the World Congress Center in Atlanta. On Monday, they demonstrated at the Marshall Middle School gymnasium the scratch-built robot they created to fulfill the Aerial Assist solution, a challenge presented during a conference held at Georgia Tech in January. The vision-capable robot must play in a three-on-three game, passing a special exercise ball back and forth down the court aiming for a goal. The team that wins the regional competition has a chance to go to the world championships. Go to www.columbusrobotics.wikispaces.com/home for more information.
