High school sports: Rain halts local events again


Baseball games for Columbus, Northside and Hardaway were postponed again on Saturday after the inclement weather that entered the area Friday continued into the weekend.

Columbus, which was set to host Troup in a makeup for Friday's postponement, again pushed its game back.

It is set to be played Monday at Columbus.

The key doubleheader between Region 1-AAAAA foes Northside and Hardaway, tied at the top of their region standings, was also pushed back. Game 1 will start at 3 p.m. Monday with the second game to follow.
