Necklaces reported stolen from Kingsberry Lane home

Two gold necklaces with a value of $400 have been reported stolen from a home on Kingsberry Lane in Columbus.

According to a police report, the burglary happened Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.

Entry to the home was made through a busted window in the rear of the house. The cost of the damage was estimated at $300.

Officers responded to an alarm. It was a burglary in progress discovered by the resident of the house.

The victim told police that the suspect was a black male, 16-20 years of age, who was wearing a gray hoodie with blue jeans and a red shirt.

The case is under investigation.
