A 31-year-old Columbus man was arrested Saturday and charged with public indecency and possession of marijuana.

According to the police report, arrested was Johnathon Crook who lives on Kingspoint Drive where the incident took place Saturday.

Police officers were dispatched to a home where someone had reported a white male urinating in public next to a red car. It was around 1 p.m.

Officers say Crook admitted to urinating in his front yard because he did not want to walk into his residence. He thought nobody else was at home.

Police say that a search was done and approximately one gram of marijuana valued at $10 was found.
