Times set for Cottonmouths' 2nd round playoff games

Snakes will play against Huntsville Havoc

The Columbus Cottonmouths advanced to the second round of the Southern Professional Hockey League playoffs by defeating Peoria on Sunday evening 4-1 to take the best-of-three series two games to one.

The Snakes will play Huntsville in the second round. On Monday morning, the SPHL announced the following schedule for the second round:

• Game 1: Columbus at Huntsville, Wednesday, April 2 at 8:30 p.m. at the Huntsville Municipal Ice Complex.

• Game 2: Huntsville at Columbus, Thursday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Columbus Civic Center.

• Game 3: (if necessary) Columbus at Huntsville, Sunday, April 6 at 8:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Municipal Ice Complex. (all times EDT)

Seating for the game(s) in Huntsville will be general admission and standing room only and will go on sale to the public at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huntsville Municipal Ice Complex seats only 1200. Tickets for Game 2 will be available through Ticketmaster and at the Columbus Civic Center box office beginning Tuesday.
