Wojciechowski to take over at Marquette

Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Marquette has reportedly named Steve Wojciechowski as its new men's basketball coach.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and ESPN cited sources as saying the Duke assistant was named as the replacement for Buzz Williams, who left Marquette on March 21 to take the vacancy at Virginia Tech.

Wojciechowski has spent the past 15 seasons as an assistant at Duke under Mike Krzyzewski and played four years as a point guard for the Blue Devils. He was on the staff for NCAA championship teams in 2001 and 2010.
