Google Street View Car

Google's Street View Car is in Muscogee County, according to Google.

The multicolored, multicamera'd vehicle which collects images for Google Maps has already been spotted in the Columbus area, according to reports on social media.

Many of our Facebook fans have spotted the car around the Valley in recent days, including on JR Allen Parkway, in Phenix City and Smiths Station, Ala. Follow their sightings here.

I've also gotten reports that the car passed through Phenix city's Summerfield subdivision yesterday around lunchtime.

According to Google's "Where Is Street View?" cars are also driving around Barrow, Brantley, Camden, Cobb, DeKalb, Dodge, Fulton, Glynn, Gwinnett, Hall, Jackson, Laurens, McIntosh, Montgomery, Telfair, Toombs, Wayne and Wheeler Counties.
