Wrenn, Tyler lead Bulldogs to 7-2 win over Missouri; take 2-0 lead in series


COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Stephen Wrenn went 3-for-5 and drove in two runs Saturday to lead Georgia to a 7-2 win over Missouri at Taylor Stadium.

Robert Tyler (3-2) spread four hits over five innings and picked up the win. John Miles (2-3) gave up five runs on six hits in 5 1-3 innings and took the loss.

Georgia outlasted Missouri 2-1 in 13 innings to claim game one of an SEC series Friday on a chilly, windy night at Taylor Stadium.

Georgia (18-12-1, 5-5-1 SEC) and Missouri (13-16, 3-8 SEC) meet today at noon for the final game of the series.
