Chattahoochee Valley moves up to No. 2 in NJCAA poll

Chattahoochee Valley Community College moved up to No. 2 in the National Junior College Athletic Association poll that was released Tuesday.

The Pirates (29-7) were No. 4 in the previous poll, which came out two weeks ago.

Connor State (Okla.) College (32-4) is No. 1. Chipola (Fla.) College (29-8) is No. 3, followed by Spartanburg (S.C) Methodist College (28-9) and Delgado (La.) Community College (27-7).

The Pirates, who have won 10 straight, will play a doubleheader Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Thomas College in Thomasville, Ga. The twinbill was scheduled for CVCC on Monday, but it was postponed due to rain.
