Burglary suspect Antonio Marquise Merritt added interference with government property to his charges when he headbutted a jail-bound patrol car's window, according to a report.

Police say Merritt bashed the window out of the frame when officers began transporting him from Lansing Avenue Wednesday morning. No details were released about Merritt's first degree burglary charge.

Merritt was additionally charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
