Cason Greathouse leads Columbus past LaGrange

Cason Greathouse had quite a day in leading the Columbus Blue Devils to their seventh straight win, a 2-0 victory over LaGrange in a Region 5-AAAA contest.

Greathouse earned the win, pitching a complete-game two-hitter. He struck out five.

He also drove in one of Columbus' runs and scored the other.

In the first, Nick Poskey and Will Kilgore both singled with one out. After a double steal, Greathouse knocked in Poskey with a sacrifice fly.

In the fourth, Greathouse doubled and went to third on Russell Forthofer's sacrifice bunt. Greathouse scored on Dylan Baker's sacrifice fly.Thursday at Columbus
