Ryan Lawlor strikes out 10 in Bulldogs' 4-3 win over Tennessee


ATHENS, Ga. -- Ryan Lawlor pitched nine complete innings and gave up only one run on five hits with 10 strikeouts and three walks for Georgia en route to a 4-1 win over Tennessee Friday.

Tennessee took a 1-0 lead in the first, but a RBI on a groundout by Brandon Stephens in the second tied the game at 1-1.

Skyler Weber brought in another run on a fielder's choice later that inning.

In the fifth Hunter Cole hit an RBI single followed by a sacrifice fly for an RBI by Conor Welton.

Georgia (20-14-1, 6-7-1) will host Tennessee again Saturday at 4 p.m.
