MacKenzie Myrick is Girls Essay State Literary Champion

St. Anne-Pacelli junior MacKenzie Myrick is the 2013-2014 Girls Essay State Literary Champion for Class A Private School. Myrick competed in the GHSA State Literary Meet on March 15 in Warner Robins, Ga. MacKenzie's winning essay explored how within the plot of his novel, "Brave New World," Aldous Huxley addressed the following question: "Is it better to live in a controlled world without pain or to live a world with individualism but also with conflict." The essay was judged on content, organization and style. Mackenzie is an honors student at St. Anne-Pacelli and hopes to pursue a career in writing or film production after high school.
