CSU track team competes at Blue Shoes in preparation for PBC championship


GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Columbus State track team competed in the Furman Blue Shoes Invitational Saturday.

The men's 4x100-meter relay team (Isaiah Lay, Jalen Tolbert, Norbert Ferrell, Xaviar Matthews) came in first with a season best time of 41.99, and Juel Beasley won the women's long jump with a mark of 17 feet 11 inches.

Columbus State will compete in the Peach Belt Conference championship Thursday beginning at noon in Rome, Ga.
