Alabama baseball wins fourth straight


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Alabama won its fourth straight with a 5-2 victory over UAB at Regions Park on Wednesday night.

Geoffrey Bramblett started and earned the win for Bama. He went 5 innings and allowed one run on four hits.

Jay Shaw (Russell County) was one of three relievers to pitch the final four innings. He pitched two perfect innings.

Georgie Salem led Bama at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored.

Alabama (26-11) will start a SEC series at Tennessee on Friday night at 7.
