LaGrange man shot in the face, airlifted to Grady Hospital

Officials rushed a 59-year-old LaGrange man to Grady Hospital after a bullet fired at his Carver Street home struck his face, according to a LaGrange Police Department news release.

At about 12:25 a.m., unknown persons opened fire on the man's home. One of the bullets hit the victim's face while he sleeping. When police found him, he was bleeding profusely, according to the release.

The victim is in stable condition. Anyone with additional information should contact the LaGrange Police Department at (706) 883-2620.
