AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn's season opener against Arkansas on Aug. 30 will air on the SEC Network, it was revealed Friday.

The kickoff time for the contest has yet to be determined.

The announcement had been hinted at during a presentation prior to the SEC Championship game in December. The SEC Network made it official Friday during a presentation on Auburn's campus. It was previously announced that the network's new pregame show, dubbed "SEC Nation," would air from Auburn on the day of the Tigers/Razorbacks tilt.

ESPN, which operates the network along with the SEC, came to an agreement with Dish Network to carry the channel on March 3. The network is still working with cable and satellite providers to include the channel in its packages.
