Maryland rallies for 7-2 win over Georgia Tech


COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland rallied for six runs after seventh inning Friday night to defeat Georgia Tech 7-2.

Josh Heddinger (2-2) gave up four runs on four hits over 6 1-3 innings and took the loss.

Jake Stinnett (4-5) allowed two runs on five hits and pitched a complete game for the win.

Daniel Spingola had two hits and drove in a run to lead Georgia Tech.

Georgia Tech (24-15, 10-9 ACC) plays Maryland (23-13, 8-10) today at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
