Man, woman shot on 24th Street

Columbus police are investigating an incident in which a man and a woman were both shot.

According to the police report, the incident happened at 24th Street and 14th Avenue sometime between 1 a.m. and 1:28 a.m. Saturday.

Police officers responded to a report of shots being fired from a gun at that location. Other officers were dispatched to Midtown Medical Center to check on a report of two gunshot victims being admitted.

One of the victims was a 24-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her right leg. She was listed in satisfactory condition.

A 26-year-old man had a gunshot wound to his head and was listed in stable condition.

Both were shot with a pistol.

The shots were fired outside a residence.
