Columbus teen arrested for hijacking car

A Columbus teen has been arrested and charged with hijacking a motor vehicle.

According to a Columbus police report, the 15-year-old boy pointed a gun at the victim and demanded that a 32-year-old Columbus man surrender his 2004 Toyota Matrix.

Police officers were flagged down by the victim shortly after the incident took place Saturday at 6 p.m.

The theft took place on 14th Avenue.
