Georgia loses fifth straight

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Georgia lost its fifth straight game Tuesday night as the Dogs fell to Kennesaw State 3-1 at Coolray Field.

Max Pentecost went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs to lead the Owls (22-20). Jacob Bruce went 2-for-4 with a RBI and two runs scored.

Georgia (21-19-1) was led by Stephen Wrenn (3-for-5 with an RBI) and Skyler Weber (3-for-5 with a run scored).

David Sosebee took the loss, giving up three runs in three innings.

Georgia plays at Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
