Two Kendrick High School students were charged with marijuana possession Tuesday after an officer found them arguing about money, according to a Columbus Police report.

Marquez Love, 17, told the officer Dondra Miles, 18, took $30 from him after police found the two arguing at about 1:30 p.m. At first, Miles claimed he didn't have Love's money, but later said he must have accidentally acquired the extra money when the officer found $35 on him. Before he was searched, Miles only admitted to have $25, according to the report.

Police also found 1.6 grams of marijuana during the search. Love was charged with possession with intent to distribute and Miles was charged with possession of marijuana.

Both were transported to Muscogee County Jail.

This story has been updated to correct the spelling of Dondra Miles' name.
