Police have withdrawn an aggravated assault warrant for a man previously suspected in a mid-April shooting, according to a Columbus Police report.

Officers announced their search for Kenderrick Hill Tuesday. Hill was wanted for a April 19 shooting that took place at the intersection of 24th Street and 14th Avenue. However, a witness recanted their positive identification of Hill.

Hill is still wanted for violation of probation.

The 6-foot-2 suspect is described as a 180-pound, light-skinned black man with a forehead scar above his right eye. He has three known tattoos — a tear drop on his right cheek, "thug" on his right arm and "Barbara" on his left.
