Columbus' Jason Fober and Cason Hammock finish seventh in Georgia Four-Ball


CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- Cres Dodd of Calhoun and Greg Johnson of Cartersville shot a 64 on Sunday to rally to win the Georgia Four-Ball Championship.

Dodd and Johnson, who are both members of the host Cartersville Country Club, finished at 20-under 196.

Columbus' Jason Fober and Cason Hammock fell three sports Sunday to a seventh-place finish at 15-under 201 after a 69.

Fober and Hammock, who teamed to win the Four-Ball in 2011 at Green Island, shared the first-round lead after a 62.

Columbus' Bobby Brent III and Bubba Gallops moved up 13 spots to 12th at 9-under 205 after a 66.

Columbus' Carter Mize and Wright Waddell, who have won this event four times, remained in tie for 25th after a 71 to finish at 6-under 210. Mize was elected to the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame on Thursday.
