COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Alabama Crimson Tide could not overcome South Carolina's offense Sunday as the Gamecocks picked up a 9-3 win. South Carolina won the three-game series 2-1.

South Carolina scored two runs in the bottom of the first and another in the bottom of the fourth to take a 3-0 lead.

Alabama tied the game in the fifth thanks to an RBI on a fielder's choice by Chance Vincent and RBI singles by Mikey White and Georgie Salem.

The Gamecocks took control from there and six more runs to put the game out of reach.
